I’m the  Campus Rep for Carleton University. I hold Apple events, demo days and provide low level tech support for Mac users on campus.

Apple is very visible on campus whether it be the increasing numbers of students coming to Carleton with MacBooks to Profs who use their MacBook Pros to teach in the classroom. Carleton has a large and dynamic Mac community, many of whom are at the forefront of educational technologies.

All the student facilities I used in my 4.5 yrs of undergrad have definitely worked (if not better than on a PC) on Macs from the academic software (WebCT, Carleton Central etc) to general use software like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS & Adobe CS 2.
